Electric sightseeing cars generally use lead-acid batteries or maintenance-free batteries. During the use of lead-acid batteries, water will be naturally lost, causing the liquid level to drop. It is necessary to regularly unscrew the liquid hole cover and check the liquid in each cell of the battery. Generally, the battery liquid needs to cover the height of the pole plate by 3-4mm, and the liquid level must not be lower than the pole plate.
The following points should be paid attention to when refilling the battery of electric sightseeing car:
1.Fill the battery with water after it is fully charged. Before charging, if the board has exposed the liquid level gauge. Firstly, add an appropriate amount of pure water to cover the board, and then add the liquid level gauge to the specified relative height after charging.
2.When adding water to the battery, be sure to use distilled water or deionized water for batteries. Do not use ordinary tap water, well water or river water, or add acid directly to the battery.
3.Generally speaking, the higher the ambient temperature, the more frequently the flooded battery is used, the longer the usage time, and the faster the water consumption. Normal liquid level inspection cycle: it is recommended to be once every half month in summer and once a month in winter. For batteries that have been used for more than one year, the inspection period should be shortened appropriately according to the situation.
4.Determine the height of the water level: Please add water to the position about 3-4mm below the bottom of the liquid level indicator (a plastic part in the injection hole that goes deep into the battery). (Do not add too much water, and the liquid level should not touch the lower end of the liquid hole plug, so as to prevent the battery from overflowing acid!)
5.Flooded batteries will naturally lose water during use, resulting in a drop in the liquid level. It is necessary to open the liquid hole cover regularly to check the height of the liquid level in each cell of the battery.
